Tedd Ells takes oath as new Director of Veterans Service Office for St. Louis County

St. Louis County's new Director of Veterans Services is officially on board. Tedd Ells took the necessary oath of service Monday, his first day working for the county. Auditor Don Dicklich administered the oath.

 

Ells, of Proctor, has more than 25 years military experience - in the Navy, Air National Guard, and now the Minnesota Army National Guard, in which he holds the rank of Major. 

 

As Veterans Service Office Director, Ells will oversee a staff of eight working out of four offices in Duluth, Hibbing, Virginia and Ely. Their job is to serve the more than 18,000 veterans who live in St. Louis County.
