Incident Summary: On June 29th, 2018 at approximately 5:58 P.M. the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office received a report of an industrial accident in which a 33 year old male had reportedly been electrocuted, while working on a power outage issue for Lake Country Power in rural Orr, MN.
Despite the extensive efforts of Lake Country Power employees on scene, first responders, and ambulance personnel, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of death is undetermined at this point, but the incident remains under investigation by the Sheriff's Office, with assistance from the Midwest Medical Examiners Office in Ramsey, MN.
