Incident Summary:

On 6/28/2018 at around 7PM, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, the Hoyt Lakes Police Department and the St. Louis County Rescue Squad responded to a report of a deceased male in Silver Lake in Biwabik Township.  Upon arrival, the male was located and removed from the lake by the Sheriff's Rescue Squad, near the 6000 block of Silver Lake Road South.  Upon further investigation, it appears that the male, Elmer Willman had last been seen on Sunday by a neighbor.  Family members went to look for him today after not being able to contact him this week.  A family member then found him deceased in the lake near his canoe.  The incident does not appear suspicious in nature and remains under investigation at this time.
