Incident Summary:
On June 26th, 2018 the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office was advised of a garage fire at 4317 Kingston Road in Rice Lake. Deputies arrived on scene and found a detached, double stall garage on fire with smoke pouring out from the doors and roof. Fire personnel arrived and were able to extinguish the fire. The garage had major smoke and structural damage, there were also many items in the garage that were damaged or destroyed. The total value of loss at this time is unknown. The cause of the fire is believed to be a power line knocked down by someone felling trees on the property.
