Incident Summary: On 10 May 2018, at approximately 0730 hours, the CN Railroad reported a train derailment in Alborn Township. The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office responded to find 17 rail cars had derailed spilling their load of taconite. There were no injuries and no roadways were blocked due to the derailed cars. The derailment was contained to railroad property and there was no other property damage reported. The CN Railroad Police also responded.
