Incident Summary:
On February 26, 2018, shortly after 11:00 AM, St. Louis County Sheriff's
deputies and emergency first responders were called to the railroad tracks near
the intersection of Highway 8 and Highway 7 in Culver Township.
A Canadian National Railroad train reported striking a pedestrian. The pedestrian
died at the scene.
Preliminary investigation found the deceased party is believed to be a 44 year old female Saginaw resident.
Positive identification will be established by the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office and the female's identity will be released at that time.
