Incident Summary: On February 22nd, 2018 at approximately 3:27 P.M. the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, Bearville First Responders, and the Cook Ambulance responded to a snowmobile accident with injuries on the Bearskin snowmobile Trail near Hwy 73 and the Lind road in Linden Grove Township in Rural Cook, Mn.   Nelson was operating his snowmobile on the Bearskin Trail when his ski caught the outside edge of the trail and he was thrown from his machine.  Nelson landed on the trail and was struck by a snowmobile coming from the opposite direction.  Nelson was transported by ambulance to the Cook hospital with non-life threatening facial injuries.  Nelson was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
