Incident Summary:

On 10/18/2017, at approximately 8:06 PM the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office received a report of an overdue/possible lost person call in Beatty Township.  It was reported JOHN BOTZET had departed his hunting shack on an ATV earlier in the afternoon to check deer stands, but failed to return back to the shack. The St. Louis County Volunteer Rescue Squad was summoned to begin a search for BOTZET.

BOTZET was located by members of the Rescue Squad at 9:57 PM, at which time it was discovered BOTZET had rolled his ATV while going down a steep, rocky hill on the property.  BOTZET's leg was pinned under the ATV.  BOTZET was assisted out of the Woods by the Rescue Squad and transported by the Cook Ambulance Service to the Cook Hospital for what appeared to be minor injuries.
