Incident Summary:

On October 11th at 1532 hours the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office responded to the call of an ATV rollover near the 5400 block of Bear Trap Rd. The male driver, who was thrown to from the ATV, was reported to be unconscious and suffered severe head injuries. Deputies and EMS staff attempted life saving efforts, but the driver of the ATV was pronounced dead at the scene. Gregry Gundy was identified as the driver and single rider on the ATV. The cause of the crash appears to have resulted from human error and Gundy was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident. The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office and Midwest Medical Examiners Office are investigating.
