Haines Road to reopen Friday after construction wraps up early

The section of Haines Road that has been closed for construction will reopen tomorrow morning, September 28, nearly a week sooner than expected. Haines Road, between Arrowhead Road and Highway 53, has been closed since September 21 due to construction, as well as wiring and installation of new traffic signals and street lights. The work had originally been expected to take about two weeks.

Construction at the intersection and work on the traffic signal are part of a $2 million project to improve traffic flow and safety along Arrowhead Road. The full project is expected to be complete in late October. As always, drivers are reminded to slow down and avoid distractions while traveling in or near work zones.
