Incident Summary:

On August 29, 2017 at approximately 3:16pm the St Louis County Sheriff's Department responded to a vehicle rollover crash at 8030 Vermilion Trail in Gnesen Township.  The vehicle that rolled over was a dump truck hauling class five gravel from a gravel pit to the Whiteface area.  The driver, Todd M. Jyring stated that he accidentally drove over the fog line and over-corrected, causing the dump truck to roll over and spill it's load onto the roadway.    Jyring was transported by Gold Cross ambulance to Essentia St Mary's Hospital, where he was treated for non life threatening injuries.  The dump truck was inspected by a MN State Patrol Commercial Vehicle Inspector.  The gravel on the roadway was cleared away by the Saint Louis County Road Department.
