Incident Summary:

On August 3rd, 2017 at around 6 PM, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office responded to a single vehicle crash on Heino Road in Angora Township.  The car had been traveling westbound on Heino Road and went off into the north ditch area and struck some trees and brush.  The driver and sole occupant of the car, Jolene Gitzlaff, was taken by ambulance to the Cook Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  Alcohol consumption by the driver is believed to be the main cause of the crash.  Charges are pending at this time.  The incident remains under investigation at this time.
