Incident Summary:
On June 10, 2017 at approximately 6:20 P.M the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office responded to the Lester River to an area known as "The Deeps" for a report of a male who jumped off the rock cliff and hit a submerged rock just below the water surface. The 22 year old male was pulled from the water unconscious by friends. The male was breathing and later conscious, but had a laceration to the back of his head. The male was taken to St. Luke's for further medical attention.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office urges people to be cautious when swimming and jumping in local streams and water ways.
