Incident Date: May 28, 2017

Incident Time: 8:00 P.M.

Incident Location: 5031 Parsons Point Road Duluth, MN 55803

Incident Summary:

On May 28, 2017 at approximately 8:00 pm the St Louis County Sheriff's Department responded to a report of a structure fire at 5031 Parsons Point Road in Fredenberg Township. The fire appears to have started from wood chips, previously used in a meat smoker, that the home owner disposed of in a garbage can. The extent of damage is unknown at this time but the residence does not appear to be a total loss. No injuries were reported.
