Incident Summary:

On May 15, 2017 at approximately 5:12pm the St Louis County Sheriff's Department was advised of a structure fire at 12402 Hwy 2, West of Floodwood.  The fire was at MAT Incorporated, a business that produces erosion control products for hydraulic seeding.  A fire had started in some of the equipment there and quickly spread.  Employees evacuated and there were no injuries reported.  Floodwood Fire department was assisted by Arrowhead Fire department is putting out the fire.  The extent of damage is unknown at this time.
