Incident Summary:

On 5/13/2017 at around 4PM a Dodge pick up truck was traveling westbound on Skibo Road near Pine Street in Bassett Township, when it was struck by a north bound CN train.  All 3 occupants of the pick up truck were taken to Northern Pines Hospital initially.  All 3 sustained injuries but the extent of the injuries are currently not fully known.  It appears that the pick up truck did not stop at the tracks, but drove through the stop sign. The incident remains under investigation at this time.  ICR#17101648
