Incident Summary: On April 8, 2017, at approximately 11:14 PM, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office along with the MN State Patrol, Virginia Ambulance Service and Pike-Sandy First Responders responded to the 7300 block of HWY 169 in Wuori Township regarding an ATV accident with injuries. The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office learned through the investigation that Altobell and Skeie were riding an ATV on HWY 68 (Britt Rd.) near the intersection of HWY 53 in unorganized township 60-18 when the ATV rolled and ejected Altobell and Skeie from the ATV. The ATV was driven by Skeie to a residence in Wuori Township where 911 was called. Altobell and Skeie were transported by the Virginia Ambulance Service to Essentia Health-Virginia for non-life threatening injuries. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident. The accident remains under investigation by the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office.
