Incident Summary:
On March 4, 2017 at approximately 08:12 hours, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, along with members from Fredenberg Fire Volunteer Fire Department, Grand Lake Volunteer Fire Department, and Canosia Volunteer Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 6024 Sunny Lane in Grand Lake Township. Fire department personnel arrived and worked diligently to contain and put out the fire. The cause of the fire appears to have originated from a hot tub electrical outlet. The home owners and their pets vacated the home in a timely manner and did not sustain any injuries. The residence suffered major smoke, fire, and water damage.
