Incident Summary:

On August 31, 2016, at approximately 1346 hours, St. Louis County Sheriff's Deputies along with the Mt. Iron Fire Department were dispatched to a Structure Fire at 8521 Raintree Drive, Apartment B.  When deputies arrived, the apartment was filled with smoke and all residents of the building had been evacuated.  The cause of the fire was determined to have been overheated cooking oil.  The oil started on fire, causing significant damage to the apartment.  The total loss has not been determined at this time.
