Incident Summary: The St. Louis County Emergency Dispatch center received a call of a structure fire in the 2700 Blk of South Admiral Rd. in rural McDavitt Township. A neighboring property owner observed smoke in the sky and went to investigate, at which time they located a residence fully engulfed in flames. When Deputies arrived on scene,  the rest of the house had been consumed by flames. No one was home at the time of the fire, but the family did suffer the loss of their 4 dogs that perished in the blaze. The family is receiving assistance from the Red Cross at this time. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Sheriff's Office, with assistance from the MN State Fire Marshal.
