Let's Get Growing - despite climate change and deer and...

Is our climate warming and what are the implications for northern gardeners? Educators from St. Louis County will share their insights on this and several other timely topics at the “Let’s Get Growing” program May 24, from 1 to 4:15 p.m., at the Mr. Iron Community Center.

St. Louis County Horticulturist, Bob Olen and Agriculturist, Kendall Dykhuis will cover a variety of topics including climate change and the implications for northern gardeners, deer control, growing great carrots, understanding soil fertility and growing the new hydrangeas.

Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. The workshop fee is $20, and covers reference materials and refreshments. Pre-registration is recommended because seating is limited.
