City of Shakopee is seeking maintenance operators, recreation assistants

Do you know a teen or college student looking for a summer job? The City of Shakopee is hiring summer seasonal staff for its Public Works and Parks and Recreation departments.

Seasonal Maintenance Operator

These full-time positions are perfect for anyone who enjoys being outdoors and keep busy. Tasks include gardening, landscaping, street work and more.

Salary Range: $11.88-$14.86/hour

Age: Must be 18+

Recreation Assistant

Enjoy working with kids? These part-time positions help implement weekly arts and crafts, games and activities for children ages 4 to 12.

Salary Range: $10.69-$12.38/hour

Age: Must be 16+
