City of Richfield Snow Emergency Declared |

Snow Emergency declared. Plowing to begin at 4 a.m. on Wednesday, December 10.
The City of Richfield has declared a Snow Emergency, effective at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9 and lasting until streets are plowed curb to curb.
A Snow Emergency is declared when 4 inches of snow has fallen or upon designation by the city manager. Plows will be out beginning at 4 a.m. tomorrow to clear streets of snow and to prevent icy ridges and ruts from forming.
During the Snow Emergency:
- On-street parking is prohibited. Vehicles must be moved off the streets, as soon as possible.
- Ticketing and/or towing of cars remaining on the streets will begin tonight with towing beginning at 4 a.m. on Wednesday, December 10.
- If you need a place to park your car, Richfield has Snow Emergency Parking Areas designated on the east side of town (see map below).
- Place trash containers behind the curb line on the boulevard, not in the street.
- Help our Emergency Responders by shoveling around fire hydrants in your area.
