We’ve always known it, but a recent Star Tribune article confirmed it- board game nights are anything but boring. With new games focusing on creativity, collaboration and connection (not just dragons and dungeons), more people are choosing game nights over alternatives like going out or being on screens.
Join us this Saturday from 4 - 9 p.m. at the Richfield Community Center for Richfield's very own Game Night! Ages 10 and up are welcome to drop in. No registration needed and the event is free. Bring your friends or make some new ones around the table!
The new Chicago Avenue pedestrian and bike bridge is officially open! This bridge serves as the detour for the now-closed Portland Avenue bridge and offers a much safer, more convenient I-494 crossing—especially for the walking and biking residents of Seasons Park and Richfield Towers.
Entertainment in the Park starts next week
Join us at the Richfield Community Band Shell at Veterans Memorial Park for free weekly performances all summer long. Evening family concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. and morning children shows start at 11 a.m.
We’ll kick things off with the Richfield Symphonic Band on Tuesday, June 10 at 6:30 p.m. These events are a great way to enjoy local entertainment and connect with neighbors.
Check out the full summer lineup on our website.
Last Thursday, the Richfield Police Department and Joint Community Police Partnership (JCPP) hosted Active Outdoors 2025 for the third consecutive year. In collaboration with Partnership Academy, Three Rivers Park District, Hennepin County Sheriff's Office, Metro Transit, M Health Fairview and Target, around 60 sixth- and seventh-grade students enjoyed a day full of outdoor activities: soccer, basketball, fishing and biking alongside police officers and volunteers.
