Richfield 2024 Voter Guide
The 2024 election is here, and Richfield voters have several ways to cast their ballots now through November 5! Whether you’re voting early by mail, in-person at the Richfield Municipal Center or at your polling place on Election Day, there’s a convenient option for everyone.
Voting Options:
-
Absentee by mail: After requesting an absentee ballot, complete it and make sure it’s returned before Election Day. You can track your ballot here. Please note, if you have not yet requested your absentee ballot, doing so this close to the election is not recommended and in-person early voting would be a better option.
-
In-person early voting: Stop by the Richfield Municipal Center Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or during extended voter hours (below). Don't know where to go once you arrive? This brief video tutorial can help!
- Extended Voting Hours
- Tuesday, October 29: 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
- Saturday, November 2: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
- Sunday, November 3: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
- Monday, November 4: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
-
Curbside voting: If you have mobility challenges, curbside voting is available at the Municipal Center or your polling place on Election Day.
-

The city is proposing an $80 million investment plan, called “Our Legacy, Our Future,” to address critical infrastructure issues and provide additional space and amenities at three major parks and recreation destinations: the Community Center, Wood Lake Nature Center and Veterans Park. Voters are being asked to consider a half-percent local sales tax that would finance up to $65 million to help pay for these projects. The remainder will come from state and federal funds.
