Visit Richfield Offers Grants to Boost Tourism
The Visit Richfield Grant Program provides grant funding for activities and events that increase tourism and visitors to Richfield and promote Richfield businesses and amenities.
Eligible applicants: Businesses, nonprofit organizations, community groups, and local government agencies. Applicants may apply for more than one grant; however, an applicant may be awarded only one grant per project.
Maximum grant size: $2,500
Grants are offered quarterly. The next grant application period is April 10 - May 10.
Funds Available to Help Provide Reasonable Accommodations for Employees with Disabilities
The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development has launched the Employer Reasonable Accommodation Fund (ERAF), where small and mid-sized employers can request reimbursement for expenses related to providing reasonable accommodations for employees and job applicants with disabilities.
Examples of reasonable accommodations include: wheelchair ramps, ergonomic workstations, specialized software, and much more.
ERAF staff can help answer your questions about reasonable accommodations and the Americans with Disability Act, provide technical assistance, and share more information about the fund and how it can help your business.
