Come out for Voyageur Curling this weekend!
Come down to Donaldson Park ice rink and experience a fun new winter sport, Voyageur Curling! This simplified and adventurous version of curling is perfect for all ages and beginners. This version of curling uses log pieces instead of stones and scores the game like bocce ball. A local curling expert will help coach families on how to play and how to have fun with this unique sport. You can register online today or drop in at Donaldson Park during programmed hours. See you on the ice!

Early Voting begins tomorrow!
Early voting for the Presidential Primary Nomination begins this Friday, January 19! Richfield residents can come to the Municipal Center (6700 Portland Avenue) during normal business hours (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) to vote in-person. Voters can also participate by voting via mail or in-person on Election Day. The Presidential Primary Election will be held on March 5.

Tuesday: Fare for All
Swing by the Fare For All sale on Tuesday, January 23 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Community Center (7000 Nicollet Avenue). Fare For All buys fresh produce and frozen meat in bulk from wholesalers, manufacturers, and growers. Volunteers bundle it into $10 – $30 packages that are sold at sale locations across Minnesota. Everyone and anyone can shop at Fare For All. Check out this month's deals!

Tuesday: Bark in the Park!
Join us from 4 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday at the Roosevelt Dog Park for a seasonal social for you and your dog!
Warm winter refreshments will be available for you along with doggie appetizers for your furry friend. It’s the perfect time of the season to meet your neighbors and chat while your dogs can get to know each other.

Over the past week, Richfield council and staff have connected with state representatives to discuss local priorities for the upcoming legislative session.
- On January 11, local policymakers, including Representative Michael Howard, a representative for Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, the Richfield Public School District, Hennepin County, Metropolitan Council, and the Metropolitan Airports Commission joined a discussion on legislative priorities during the city's annual Legislative Breakfast.
- On January 16, during a brisk morning visit, the Senate Bonding Tour stopped by Nicollet Avenue to learn more about the city's bonding request while warming up at the Community Center.

Brighten your winter with the sounds of Frank Sinatra!
On January 29, join your neighbors for a day trip to St. Cloud! First, travel to Coyote Moon Grille Restaurant Club for a delicious lunch. Later, head to the Paramount theater for an afternoon of music at “Sinatra – My Way,” with singer and pianist Andrew Walesch.
The trip will run from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and costs $106 including lunch and transportation.

Are you excited about making it easier to be healthy in Richfield?
Bloomington Public Health is announcing funding to support community-led solutions to address chronic diseases like heart disease, cancer, and type 2 diabetes. The goal is to expand opportunities for well-being, active living, healthy eating and commercial tobacco-free living. Organizations are invited to apply and request up to $24,999 in funds. This opportunity is available for organizations serving the cities of Richfield, Bloomington or Edina. Applications are due March 15.
