Christmas tree pickup begins January 8
All garbage haulers will be picking up Christmas trees from January 8 through 19. The cost is $12.73 per tree and will be added to your bill. Residents do not need to have yard waste collection to use this service.
Please contact your hauler directly via phone or email to schedule collection or email garbageandrecycling@richfieldmn.gov. Trees should be left at the curb or alley for pick-up on your regular collection day. To ensure that your tree is picked up, do not wrap it in a bag and remove decorations such as wires, stands, ornaments and tinsel. Only natural, unpainted trees will be collected. Do not cut up your tree or put it in your yard waste cart.
