Roadwork Updates: 65th Street project wraps for the year!
The 65th Street Reconstruction Project work is officially done for the year, excluding a few minor punch-list items. Local roads, including the 65th St/Lyndale Ave roundabout, are open to traffic!
Currently, the electrical contractor is still working on site to fix lighting and signal complications. While all utility work and major roadway work is complete, there are several items that will need to be addressed in spring. This includes landscaping, irrigation, and striping work. The work that still needs to be done next year should not require a full closure of any lanes.
Despite several unanticipated challenges throughout the project, the city would like to thank its residents and business owners for their cooperation and patience during this project!
