Shop local this weekend!
Small businesses are the backbone of our community. Richfield businesses provide jobs, boost the local economy and bring vibrancy to our urban hometown. Last week, the city council proclaimed November 25, 2023, as Small Business Saturday in Richfield. Show our local businesses the love this weekend when you are doing your holiday shopping!

Give your loved ones a membership to Wood Lake Nature Center! Annual membership includes free ski/snowshoe use, free or discounted admission to many Wood Lake programs and events, and provides crucial financial support to Wood Lake Nature Center.

Purchase beautiful, hand-made crafts from the Community Center (7000 Nicollet Avenue). All proceeds go to support the crafting club and their efforts. Crafts can be purchased Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Buy a Holiday Market Box from the winter market. Gift local this season with Richfield Farmers Market's Holiday Market Boxes with an assortment of local foods and handmade gifts. Two sizes/price points available.

Garbage/Recycling pick-up schedule for Thanksgiving week
Reminder that garbage*, yard waste and organics collection service will be delayed for some residents this week due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
Residents with Thursday service will be serviced on Friday, and those with Friday service will be serviced on Saturday. Saturday will be the last Yard Waste pick-up for Friday customers this year.
Please email garbageandrecycling@richfieldmn.gov with any questions.
*Garbage service for those with every-other-week service will not be impacted.

Adults! Register now for winter dodgeball and basketball
Richfield hosts teams from all over the metro for their 5-on-5 men's basketball league and co-ed adult dodgeball league. Leagues run January through March, with games held in the evenings at local schools. Slots are filling up quickly, so gather your friends and register today!
And the fun is not just for adults! DASH Sports offers Richfield youngsters a way to start their basketball journey with basketball camps for kids ages 2 to 12. The camps are held at Sheridan Hills Elementary (6400 Sheridan) on Wednesday evenings and are split into three age groups: 2-3, 4-6, and 7-12.

B&J Trees is back at Veterans Park with their Christmas trees. Sales have begun, with regular hours beginning November 24. Trees will be sold until they are gone!
