The Richfield Apartment Manager’s Association (RAMA) is a collaborative effort between the City of Richfield and rental housing management and owners to create and maintain quality apartment communities. The RAMA Reporter is published quarterly to provide information and resources for furthering this mission.
Rental licensing renewals have moved online! This November, license renewals will be sent out via both the US Mail and e-mail. The notice will include your username and password, along with instructions, for renewing and paying for your license online through our new permitting software Citizenserve.

Recycling
Help your residents learn what they can and can't recycle by sharing this recycling guide from Hennepin County. Note that it's available in multiple languages.

Remodeling Resources
Interest-free, deferred loans are available to help finance apartment remodeling projects. The program is also available to single-family and duplex properties during the months of August - December. Priority is given to buildings with affordable rents.

Snow emergency parking refuge area made permanent
East side owners: Please encourage your residents to make use of the snow emergency parking areas along Cedar Ave, from 65th to 75th Streets, during snow emergencies. These areas are exempt from ticketing or towing for 24 hours. Encourage residents to sign up for snow emergency notifications too!

Nicollet Ave Reconstruction Open House
Hennepin County, in coordination with the City of Richfield, will reconstruct Nicollet Avenue in 2026. The project aims to replace utilities, roadway, and sidewalks and improve conditions for all who use the corridor. Interested individuals are encouraged to participate in the virtual open house to learn about the project and provide their input on the future design.

Board Game Nights

Bring the whole family to a fun-filled night of board games, presented with Games by James and Air Traffic. Great for everybody age 10 and up (under 16 must be accompanied by an adult). The event is free.

Fare for All is a pop-up grocery store selling packs of fresh produce and frozen meat at up to 40% off of retail prices. Fare For All buys fresh produce and frozen meat in bulk from wholesalers, manufacturers, and growers. Volunteers bundle it into $10-$30 packages that are sold at sale locations across Minnesota. Everyone and anyone can shop at Fare For All across 30+ pop up sites in the Twin Cities and Greater MN. Shop for quality, nutritious foods at discount and budget-friendly prices.
