Wood Lake Nature Center wrapped up its summer camp season on August 25th after conducting 20 unique nature-focused summer camps for ages 3 to 12. Campers saved the forest from the trolls in Pixie and Sprites camp, biked over 54 miles during bike week, hit bull’s eyes on targets in archery, cared for Wood Lake’s ambassador animals in reptiles and amphibians camp, saved Wood Lake in NatureQuest by defeating challenges, and played in the woods making survival shelters and memories along the way! Wood Lake served over 230 summer campers for over 180 hours of summer camp programing!
A huge thanks to the staff and volunteers who make these programs amazing. Fall programming is now open for registration!
