Youth Pickleball Camps
Mon-Thu, June 19-22, 1:00-4:00 pm Washington Park (7600 18th Ave) $109/child Pickleball is a fun sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. DASH Sports Pickleball camps teach the game in a fun and positive atmosphere. Emphasis is on technique and game play. Balls and all other equipment are provided. Ages 8-12 years. Pre-registration required.

Amazing Athletes-Morning Sessions
Develop your child’s motor skills, hand-eye coordination, cardiovascular fitness and more through Amazing Athletes. Each class encompasses two different developmental sports, muscle identification and nutrition lessons, using fun activities to build their skills at their own pace. Ages 2.5–6 years. Starts June 26. Pre-registration required.

Susie’s Wet Workout
Mon & Wed, June 21-July 19, 12:10-12:55 PM Richfield Middle School Pool Make your workout fun and low impact! Fun noodles and aqua dumbbells are used to assist in exercise routines. No need to know how to swim either! This water exercise class is for anyone 18+ who wants a great workout in the water. Pre-registration required.

Richfield Pool OPENS JUNE 9!
The Richfield Pool opens for the season on Friday, June 9. Get your season passes at the pre-season rate through June 8, either online or at the pool (the front desk is now open during regular pool hours: 11:00 am-7:00 pm). For a full list of rates, hours, and other information, visit the Richfield Pool web page. The Richfield Pool is located at 630 E 66th Street (just east of Portland Ave).

Outdoor Explorers (Ages 10 and up)
Fridays, Jun 23-Aug 18, 9:30-10:30 am Join Three Rivers Park District for a Friday morning filled with outdoor activities like fishing, geocaching, disc golf and outdoor survival skills. This is a great way to make new friends and enjoy the outdoors at Taft Park (near the basketball court at 62nd Street and Bloomington Ave) or Wood Lake Nature Center (6710 Lake Shore Drive). Ages 10 and up. All equipment is provided. Pre-registration is required (see link below).

New Play Equipment at Sheridan & Monroe Parks
Check out the newly-installed play equipment at Sheridan Park (6500 Upton Ave) and Monroe Park (6710 Irving Ave). Installation was just completed this week by Northland Recreation!

Girls Archery Camp @ Wood Lake
Mon-Thu, Aug 21-24, 9:00 am-Noon, $125 Build connection, confidence, and curiosity in nature with other girls all while learning the art of archery! Lots of fun, games, and shooting time as archers make their own bows to practice at home. All equipment provided. Pre-registration required.

Paddleshare at Taft Park
Rent a paddleboard or kayak and take it for a spin on Taft Lake (1800 E 63rd St)! Paddleshare is a system where users can reserve a paddleboard or kayak online, then head to Taft Lake at your reserved time, get the watercraft out with your special code, and take it out on the lake! The program is presented by Three Rivers Park District.
Four-hour rental prices are $20 for solo kayaks, $30 for paddleboards, and $35 for tandem kayaks. Try it out for the month of June for 20% off! Use the discount code TRYIT20.

Friday and Saturday Fun
Select Fridays, 10:00 am Augsburg Adventure Park (7000 Nicollet Ave)
Spend the morning listening to stories shared through puppets, Read-A-Story Theater, storybook walks, and staff-led storytime. Each week will include new adventures to share, followed by playtime at the playground. Special dance parties are sprinkled-in the mix to celebrate the summer season! In the event in inclement weather, program will be cancelled. All sessions begin at 10:00 am.

Food Truck Fridays
Select Fridays, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm After you’ve had some fun at the park, satisfy your appetite with Food Truck Fridays. Enjoy your lunch at the playground or patio picnic tables, or take it to go. Along with lunch, enjoy music, a game of bags/cornhole, and the Augsburg Adventure Park. Food is served from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm; see below for vendors and dates. The 2023 Entertainment in the Park series kicks off on Tuesday, June 13, with a concert by the Richfield Symphonic Band at 6:30 pm. Check out entertainment for kids at 11:00 am on Tuesdays (except 6/13, 7/4, and 8/15) and the main music concert series at 6:30 pm.
