Leave the leaves
Consider letting the leaves stay where they fall this autumn. Removing leaves eliminates vital wildlife habitat for mammals, insects and reptiles. Consider using a mulching lawnmower to break down swaths of leave, or rake leaves off the lawn to use as mulch in garden beds. For finer-textured mulch, shred them first.

Round-up this quarter for bike stretchers!
This quarter's Round-Up campaign at Richfield Liquor stores will help purchase two trailer stretchers for the Richfield Fire Department. RFD has recently purchased two electric bikes for use at special events or for emergencies that may be difficult to access via vehicle. A key accessory with these bikes is a stretcher that’s towed behind the bikes. Customers at Richfield Liquor stores will have the opportunity to round-up for this cause during the months of October, November and December. Thank you for your generosity!
