The position ensures that the gears of government operate smoothly. That is why it is so important to select the right individual for the job. Richfield administration believes it did just that by tapping Sack Thongvanh as the city’s next assistant city manager.

The Adaptive Recreation and Learning Exchange (AR&LE) ski & snowboard lesson program recently completed its 2022 season. This year the program had 23 students and 30 volunteer instructors who enjoyed skiing and snowboarding at Hyland Hills in Bloomington on Thursday evenings. Despite the hardships of COVID over this last year, the program was able to provide a safe and supportive opportunity for students. AR&LE received praise and appreciation from families that were thrilled to be able to continue the program this season without interruption.
Recreation staff sends a huge thanks to its amazing group of volunteers, and is already looking forward to next season!
