There’s been a change in the Minnesota Department of Revenue’s position regarding the taxability of optional maintenance contracts for equipment.

 

Please refer to Revenue Notice 12-12, Warranty and Maintenance Contracts – Optional Contracts on Equipment and Modified Revenue Notice 93-03, Application of Tax to the Printing Industry for information regarding these changes.
