Hi All!
It looks like as of this morning we have 814 people subscribed for eCRV Notices. We were just at a little over 600 a few weeks ago! Unbelievable!!
Speaking of interest in eCRV - I'd like to call your attention to the attached map (PDF) which shows the current adoption of eCRV statewide. Over half of the state is now in Production, or are testing to move to Production.
We're hard at work on version 3.5 of eCRV - some new features will be Submitters will be given a PIN number and be allowed to come back and edit eCRVs either before they are accepted at the county, or if the county rejects an eCRV (rather than having to reenter an entirely new eCRV). We're wrestling with how to handle SSNs in the Submitter Edit since these items are separated from the eCRVs right at submit time, but I know the eCRV Developers will figure out a solution. :-)
We received a "boatload" of emails on the subject of future sale dates - everyone is very passionate about their position. Most Submitters love this idea, about half of the Counties felt it was "OK" and half said no, don't allow it...
What we've decided is to allow future sale dates for a small window of time (14 days or less). In the event a eCRV is presented for acceptance at a county, and the sale date is in the future, eCRV would not allow the county to accept it (until after that date has passed). If an eCRV was post dated when it was entered, and that date has past, the county will be shown a warning that this was a sale entered ahead of time, so they can be extra diligent in acceptance of such an eCRV. This seems like a fair compromise based on everyone's opinions on this subject.
There's some other cool stuff being cooked up for version 3.5 (will be released sometime this summer, probably around the 4th of Julyish...) and we are already turning our attention to version 4.0 which will allow download from the eCRV system. Thank you to all of you who responded to our download survey!!
If you are one of the folks who will be attending next weeks 2012 MAAO Summer Seminars in Saint Cloud, MN - we will see you there!
Thank you again for your continued support of eCRV!!
