During National Military Appreciation Month, Revenue reminds military service members about the valuable tax benefits that are available to them

ST. PAUL, Minn.This National Military Appreciation Month the Minnesota Department of Revenue reminds members of the military and their families about the valuable military-related tax benefits available to them in Minnesota.

 

“Serving in our country’s armed forces is a great sacrifice for military members – past and present – and their families,” said Revenue Commissioner Cynthia Bauerly. “We thank these brave Minnesotans and want to remind them of the many tax benefits that are available to them because of their service to our state and country.”  

 

The department has a Members of the Military webpage for taxpayers to learn about military tax benefits and find information on claiming them. Minnesota’s military tax benefits include:
