You can also get additional forms and instructions on our website.

What has changed for 2019?

  • We enhanced our e-Services system to accept W-2 and 1099 submissions up to 30 megabytes.
  • You can electronically submit Form W-2c using e-Services.
  • Due to federal tax law changes, we suggest that employees complete a new Form W-4MN to correctly determine their Minnesota withholding allowances.

Do you offer classes?

Yes. The Minnesota Business Tax Education Partnership holds educational seminars for employers that includes information on:

  • Worker status (independent contractor vs. employee)
  • Employment tax basics (withholding, depositing, and reporting)
  • Unemployment Insurance (tax rates, wage reporting, and benefit account issues)
  • Federal and State Labor Standards (wage and hour)
  • Workers’ Compensation (requirements)

We conduct these seminars at locations throughout Minnesota. If you do not find a seminar scheduled in your area, check back later. We continually add new seminars.
