Has your client's address or bank account changed since filing their M1PR?

Many of your clients may have filed their Homestead Credit or Renter’s Property Tax Refund returns when they were in your office filing their income tax returns.
Please remind your clients that if they move or change their bank account after they file their return but before we issue their refund, they need to let us know right away.
If your client chose to receive their refund as a direct deposit and their bank account has changed:
Call us at 651-296-3781 or 1-800-652-9094 (toll-free) to remove their deposit information from the return. We will send them a refund check.
If your client’s address has changed:
Call us at 651-296-3781 or 1-800-652-9094 (toll-free) to update their address. If they chose to receive their refund as a check, we will mail the check to their new address. Also, if additional information is needed to process the return, we will send a letter to their correct address.
