Ramsey County Sheriff's Scouting Day 2015 will be held on Saturday, February 21, from 9:00 am to 12:00 Noon at the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Station and Ramsey County Public Works building, 1425 Paul Kirkwold Drive, Arden Hills, Minnesota 55112.
Scouting Day is a special event where Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Cub Scouts learn about the work performed by public safety agencies in Ramsey County. The event includes hands on vehicle displays, education activities, and demonstrations. Youth and families can interact with deputies, officers, and volunteers from Crime Prevention, DARE, K-9 Unit, S.W.A.T. Team, Water Patrol, Dive Team, Community Support Services, Lake Johanna Fire Department, Army National Guard, Salvation Army, and more.
Scout Troop leaders are encouraged to sign up by Friday, February 13, 2015 by calling the Sheriff’s Community Support Services Unit at 651-266-7332, or via email: crimeprevention@co.ramsey.mn.us.
