Vehicle has been identified, ownership confirmed, and is no longer being sought by authorities.


The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the public and media for the quick response for help in identifying a vehicle that was suspected in connection with the search for Ty Hoffman.  The owner of the mid-2000s silver SUV quickly made contact with law enforcement officials upon seeing the vehicle was being sought.  Ramsey County Sheriff's Officer Inspector Rob Allen reports that no connection exists between the vehicle owner and Ty Hoffman.
