Ribbon Cutting & Cookies at Redeveloped Keller Regional Park

Keller Boardwalk

Saturday is also the day to celebrate the completion of the multi-year redevelopment of Keller Regional Park. The official celebration will be held at 1 p.m. at Keller Island and will include a ribbon cutting, free cookies, and information about the project.

Keller Island is located right across Highway 61 from Keller Golf Course at 2169 Maplewood Drive. Overflow parking is available at the golf course and traffic control will be available to help guests safely cross 61.

The redevelopment project at Keller Regional Park included replacing picnic shelters with new facilities that meet modern needs, improving access, and constructing a new trail segment and boardwalk connecting the southern portion of the park with the trailhead at Spoon Lake. The trail and boardwalk opened for use last month.
