This June, Ramsey County proudly celebrates both Pride Month and Juneteenth, two important observances that reflect our mission, vision and goals of well-being, prosperity, opportunity and accountability.
On June 1, the Ramsey County Library in Roseville hosted a Pride celebration filled with family-friendly activities, crafts, a scavenger hunt, games, treats and more. It was a joyful afternoon that honored the LGBTQIA2S+ community. We extend our gratitude to the Ramsey County Library Friends and the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund for helping make this event possible.
Ramsey County will be at the STP Pride Festival on Saturday and Sunday, June 14-15, noon to 8 p.m. Visit the many Ramsey County divisions tabling, including Pathways, Workforce Solutions and Public Health and other amazing organizations supporting an inclusive community.
Join us for the Juneteenth Family Celebration and Career Fair on Friday, June 21, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Minnesota State Capitol. This annual event, produced by the ANIKA Foundation in partnership with Ramsey County, commemorates the county’s 2021 declaration of Juneteenth as an official holiday.
