Dear District 3 Residents,
The Ramsey County Board of Commissioners is proud to proclaim April 2025 as National County Government Month, celebrating our dedication to building a vibrant, inclusive community where everyone thrives. Guided by our countywide strategic plan, Ramsey County is committed to excellence through resident-focused services, advancing racial and health equity, transforming the justice system, strengthening families, addressing climate change, attracting talent, and fostering intergenerational prosperity. We strive to enhance the health, safety, and well-being of all residents in efficient, cost-effective ways.

I was pleased to proclaim April 7–13, 2025, as National Public Health Week in Ramsey County. This year’s theme, “It Starts Here,” emphasizes the power of local action in homes, communities, and beyond. I’m deeply grateful for the tireless dedication of our Ramsey County Public Health professionals who make a difference every day!
District 3 will be experiencing a number of road construction projects in the 2025 building season. We will work to provide community updates as fast as we can. In the meanwhile, project specific information can be found:

Providing opening recmarks at the new center
Great to attend the public open house for Ramsey County’s new Environmental Center on April 24, 2025, celebrating its opening at 1700 Kent Street in Roseville. This state-of-the-art facility, which began operations on April 1, offers residents a year-round hub for recycling, household hazardous waste drop-off, food scraps collection, and a free product reuse room. I commend the Ramsey County team for their commitment to climate action and community education, making it easier for all of us to reduce, reuse, and recycle.

Visiting with Sheriff Fletcher and Inspector Gullette
I appreciated meeting with Ramsey County Sheriff Bob Fletcher to discuss our shared goals around public safety for the county. During my visit, I toured the Adult Detention Center, gaining valuable insights from front line staff. A special thanks to Inspector Daryl Gullette for the informative tour!
Enjoyed the opportunity to present to the Falcon Heights City Council and Mayor Randy Gustafson, focusing on our shared vision for a thriving community. The council’s insightful feedback and productive discussion highlighted the value of the county working together with city partners to better serve our residents. Thank you to Mayor Gustafson and the council for the chance to collaborate and drive progress for our county!
