Property value appeals and open book meeting

Annual property valuation notices and tax statements were mailed in late March. Many questions or concerns about property valuation can be answered over the phone in advance of the open book meeting.

Please review your valuation notice carefully. If you believe there is an error, now is the time to appeal or question your classification or valuation.

The appeals process is available for residents on the Property Value & Assessment page.

Are you eligible for a property tax refund?

April is a month for public health awareness

April is a crucial month for public health awareness, highlighting important initiatives like National Public Health Week (April 7-11) and Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). National Public Health Week emphasizes the importance of community health, prevention and equitable access to care, encouraging individuals and organizations to work together for a healthier future. At the same time, SAAM raises awareness about sexual violence, supports survivors and promotes prevention efforts through education and advocacy.

In Ramsey County, there are now more options for reporting sexual violence. Saint Paul – Ramsey County Public Health’s SOS Sexual Violence Services has partnered with the Saint Paul Police Department to give survivors more control on how, when and to whom their assault is reported through the On My Terms program.

Environmental Center

Environmental Center is now open

The new Environmental Center is now open in Roseville, providing a convenient location to safely dispose of household hazardous waste, electronics, household recycling, scrap metal, food scraps, plastic bags and plastic wrap.
