Annual property valuation notices and tax statements for 2025 are expected to reach Ramsey County property owners the last week of March. Valuation notices include your property classification, estimated market value and taxable market value, which is used to determine property taxes payable in 2026.

Metro Transit is opening the METRO Gold Line BRT on March 22 as Minnesota’s first Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line to operate primarily in bus-only lanes. This new 10-mile route connects Saint Paul to Woodbury with 16 stations, offering fast, frequent service from 5 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week.
Metro Transit is hosting an opening day celebration on March 22 in partnership with local government and community organizations.

- 10 a.m.: Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony at Woodlane Park & Ride (Woodbury).
- 11 a.m.-2 p.m.: Community Celebrations at Woodlane and Sun Ray Park & Ride Stations.

Veterans Services office closed for in-person visits March 17 and 18
The Veterans Services office at 90 Plato Blvd. W., Saint Paul will be closed for in-person appointments on Monday, March 17 and Tuesday, March 18 for a front office redesign.
Veterans Services officers will be available to assist veterans via email and by calling the Veterans Services Office at 651-266-2545. Appointments that need to be scheduled on these days can be accommodated at another Ramsey County Service Center or location in the Plato building.

New Environmental Center will open April 1
 Ramsey County’s Environmental Center is opening April 1! This new facility will make it easier for residents to reduce, reuse, repair and recycle.

Mental health urgent care is now available for youth to help reduce the burden on local emergency rooms, provide more appropriate mental health crisis interventions and respond to feedback from community about the need for more resources for youth. The grant-funded expanded services and remodeled space are intended to serve as a model for the rest of the state to support the health and well-being of our communities – particularly our young people – and help close current gaps in care.
