Vote before Election Day at three in-person locations for the Aug. 13 state primary

In advance of the state primary on Aug. 13, Ramsey County voters can cast a ballot in person at three locations. Voters may visit any location, regardless of their home address. Special accommodations are available - follow the instructions posted at each site.

  • Weekdays June 28 – Aug. 12: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Saturday, Aug. 10: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Monday, Aug. 12: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Ramsey County Library - Roseville
Ramsey County Library - Shoreview

  • Weekdays July 26 – Aug. 12: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Saturday, Aug. 10: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Monday, Aug. 12: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Communications & Public Relations recognized nationally and locally with seven awards in excellence

Communications team

On July 13, during the National Association of Counties Annual Conference, the National Association of County Information Officers members met to discuss the latest in government communications trends and best practices. Ramsey County’s Communications & Public Relations team was recognized with two awards.

The following week, on July 17, our local government communications association, Minnesota Association of Government Communicators held their annual Northern Lights Awards celebration at the Union Depot.

Communications & Public Relations team member, and past MAGC president, Mike Lindsay, presided as one of the event’s emcees. Ramsey County Communications & Public Relations team was recognized with five awards.


Summer events at libraries and parks

Summer days are slipping away—don't miss out! Summer Break, Ramsey County Library's summer reading program, will be wrapping up by Aug. 10. Don't forget to pick up your summer reading program materials and a summer sticker at a library location near you. Plus, right now, there's no better time to explore and enjoy your parks. Take a walk, jog or bike ride through the park, or try rollerblading, skiing or skating.

Public Health seeks community partners for 2024-25 Trusted Messenger Initiative grants

Saint Paul — Ramsey County Public Health is looking for local community organizations to be a part of the Trusted Messenger Initiative. Public Health is offering a new round of grants to support innovative activities, programs and community engagement initiatives that improve public health outcomes in racially and ethnically diverse communities.

Approximately 10 grants, up to $36,000 each, will be awarded to support work by local organizations through June 30, 2025. Applications are due Aug. 12, 2024, by 4 p.m.

Reduce your wasted food: Take the Stop Food Waste Challenge

Join the Stop Food Waste Challenge to learn better strategies for buying food you’ll eat and eating the food you buy. This will help you minimize the volume of wasted food your household produces, keep edible food out of your organics bin and save money!

The challenge runs during the month of August 2024.

Ensure your child is up to date on immunizations for school

Life is busy and immunizations can be missed. Your child or teen may need to catch up before they can attend child care, school or afterschool programs in Minnesota.

Visit your doctor or contact the Saint Paul - Ramsey County Public Health Immunization Clinic to get caught up on immunizations including Measles, Mumps and Rubella.
