The Ramsey County A-Z Green Guide

Green Ramsey

Not sure how to dispose of a specific item? Or maybe you don't know if something can be recycled? Check out the Ramsey County A-Z Green Guide! Search up the item you would like to throw out, and the guide will provide options for proper disposal. You can also find helpful tips for recycling and trash such as:

1. Don't flatten your cans when you throw them out.

2. Batteries should not be thrown out in your trash, but instead taken to a hazardous waste disposal site.

3. You can donate your old, clean mattresses to several different organizations.

4. You should make sure to sweep up fertilizer from sidewalks and driveways, so it doesn't contaminate nearby lakes and ponds.

You can access the Green Guide here on the Ramsey County website. Also check out the Green Ramsey E-Newsletter for more tips and tricks on waste, energy, and other environmental topics. You can sign up for the newsletters email list here
