Last week I had the opportunity to chair the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners meeting.
We presented proclamations for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month and Correctional Officers Week, and an Employee Achievement Award to Cyndy Melby from the Ramsey County Attorney's Office.
Every 3 years, Community Action Partnership of Ramsey and Washington Counties (CAPRW) does a Community Needs Assessment to understand the needs and strengths of the community in Ramsey and Washington Counties. CAPRW uses the information collected from this survey, focus groups, and interviews in agency decision making and to design the services they offer.
They’ve asked us to share the survey link with the community so we can reach as many people as possible. Here is a link to the survey: https://form.jotform.com/241134095635050.
Please feel free to take the survey and to share with other residents of Ramsey and Washington Counties.
Thank you!!
Last week I hosted a table at the Northeast Youth and Family Services (NYFS) Leadership Luncheon. It was great to be with so many community leaders as we celebrated the work of the organization and heard testimonials from a few of the many clients that NYFS has served.
Congratulations to Mounds View Schools, who received the Together we Thrive Award at the event! This award recognizes a partner that has shown a deep commitment to advancing NYFS' mission through creativity and collaboration.
Mounds View Schools has been a partner and part of the NYFS story since the organization's founding. A Mounds View Schools employee and a Roseville Area Schools employee, along with seven municipalities, started NYFS in 1976.
